About Me
Hi! I'm so glad you're here! My name is Brooke, a May '26 graduate from CU Boulder’s CMDI program with a major in public relations. My minor in sports media and certificate in critical sports studies have reinforced my love for sport, its history, and its future. Ultimately, I seek to find a position that incorporates both public relations and sport. I have always enjoyed working with people to achieve a goal. Whether it be a client or team members, working together to make an idea come to life is what drives me. Working in customer service and management positions has given me the skills to build and maintain professional relationships.

My current position as Pro Shop Manager of Coal Creek Golf Course has allowed me to broaden and enhance my skillset. I spent this previous season taking on ordering for women’s products and visual merchandising. Through this experience I have learned the true importance of organization and task management. To evolve the offerings in the pro shop, I have attended showcases and secured four new vendors by building new relationships and maintaining consistency. In this position, I have pursued education to improve my performance such as visual merchandising online courses. I have also learned how to lead groups and delegate work based on strengths and task prioritization.

I am passionate about being great at what I do, this drives me to search for areas of improvement. I appreciate constructive feedback so that I may understand my weaknesses and overcome them. Every new responsibility brings the challenge of understanding how to excel in the role and build on my experiences. It is this challenge that inspires me to never stop seeking what’s next.
